The grouting has been kept the same throughout to tie the two different materials together. The ‘courtyard’ area is laid to the same Indian sandstone as the circle patio and has the darker porcelain cut to strips as an edge border.
On the main patio the opposite has been done, using the Indian sandstone cut into strips to surround the darker porcelain. This means that two very separate areas are tied together so not to look out of place with each other.
A timber pergola and trellis have been added to segregate the courtyard area with railway sleepers surrounding the entire installation for planting.
