Artificial grass, also commonly known as astroturf, is a very modern, low maintenance alternative to natural turfing. This man made product comes in a vast array of different ‘pile’ lengths and density. It requires a solid sub base followed by a laying bed of either sand, grano dust or 6mm grit.

The Artificial grass itself is made from synthetic fibres which are designed to look very closely to natural grass. A good quality artificial grass is difficult to tell from the real thing in both touch and appearance.
